well, its windy. so windy in fact, there are several outages throughout the lower mainland. if you are affected, i cannot fix your internet for you so please don't call me. haha jk. anyhow, the canadian tire 'eliminator' battery thingy may be useful in these situations because it has a couple of power outlets that can be used in the case of an emergency .. lets see.. it says " ac powered products. list: cordless phone = ~ 40 hours, clock radio =~ 22 hours , portable stereo = 17 hours... laptop computer = 6 hours.. 13" color tv = 2.5 hours...cellular phone =~30hours.. portable vacuum cleaner= 1 hour. ...blah..blah.." So, in the event of a power outage we can opt to vacuum for an hour?? what the ? thats probably the last thing i'd want to do if the power went out.. vacuum the living room or something..haha.. i digress..
