a string of pearls

so we got a certificate from the David Foster Charity event last year for a restaurant down in White Rock, and it expired on May 31, 2007.. but luckily the people at The Pearl on the Rock were kind enough to honor it. The friendly staff sat us at a nice table on the patio, we ate some seafood, we saw cool cars, admired the amazing view, although the company was even better..we chatted about work endeavors and daily things; read through a ridiculously thorough wine & drink menu that had everything from $11 bottled water to a $10,000 martini (that's a lot of dishes to wash..) anyhow, t'was too dark for a walk on the beach after dinner, so we'll save that for another day...
