speak up, ask..

i heard today that the first documented case of discrimination against women was in the bible.. apparently women were not allowed to inherit land even if they were the only heir. crazy to think that was how it was..but when daughters spoke up and asked for what was their birthright, the law of the land was changed... there are alot of things that we deal that we feel is not right and you never know what will happen if you don't ask, ... there was more of a mulit-themed message today: discrimination, living life to its fullest, speaking up, education, family, finding your passion in life. i found it was quite palatable and refreshing.. although its too much for me to think of all at once right now and hopefully it will digest properly in my simplemindedness grey matter.. trust in God and show it with your actions.... well, that being said, i guess i have digested it just fine.
