yesterday, what an electric night.. crazy energy in the air. i think it was the most incredible thing. i saw the trees bending, random branches breaking off, the wind was howling, house was shaking. there were several lightning blasts throughout the night sky, and because the sky was overcast and cloudy, the lightning looked huge, backlighting the clouds.. at one point a saw, what i thought was lightning strike because this time the sky turn red-orange in the distance with in a v-shape coming up from the distant ground... as i was driving i could feel the car being pushed side to side by the strong winds. and the rain was so heavy at times it sounded like hail and every other lamp post along the side of the road was out... i heeded your 'drive carefully' warning to the letter.. and sure enough, on a sharp curve by one corner exiting an off ramp, a car driving the opposite direction drove through a puddle so fast it splashed a wave of water over my windshield so that i couldn't see the road for what seemed like forever, until i hit the wipers.. whew, thats what wipers are for.. anyhow i made it. crazy as it was driving, the journey wasn't even a fraction as dangerously exciting as the destination . . .

a shameful demise to what could've been a perfectly excellent episode. *tsk tsk tsk.
